I think the equal sign "=" fits your need for the best (CMIIW)

In sheet 3 cell A1 press =, then point to sheet 1 cell A1, press Enter key
The formula formed is =Sheet1!A1 => copy A1 to A2 and A3

In sheet 3 cell A4 press =, then point to sheet 2 cell A1, press Enter key
The formula formed is =Sheet2!A1 => copy A4 to A5 and A6
